Welcome to CMS Radio FM 91.1, Canberra’s premier multicultural radio station! Tune in to experience a wide range of programs in 36 different languages, including our flagship Women Empowerment Program and the Telugutarangini Program.
CMS Radio FM 91.1, formerly known as the Ethnic Broadcasters Council of the ACT, has a rich history of promoting multiculturalism and community engagement. Established in the early 1990s, CMS Radio began as a small ethnic broadcasting initiative and has since grown into a full-time, multilingual station with a full community broadcast license.
Our programming features diverse voices and cultural perspectives, bridging communities and preserving cultural heritages. From the early days of broadcasting in Canberra to our current status as a key part of Australia’s media landscape, CMS Radio continues to provide a platform for ethnic communities and foster understanding and integration.
Stay connected with our dedicated team of volunteers and staff, including our President Dr. Songfa Liu, and enjoy programs tailored to both the young and the elderly in our vibrant community. Join us on-air for engaging content that reflects the rich tapestry of Canberra’s multicultural society.
